California Woman Finds Jesus in a Stick
A California woman says she has found a stick on the beach that bears the image of Jesus on the cross... And she says the image came to her at just the right time in her life.
She believes it's a sign from God that has helped her get through her postpartum depression and left her at ease while her husband is stationed in Iraq...
I can't see anything even remotely resembling a face on this one. The stick is largely cross-shaped, but that's about it. I don't see anything at all on the stick other than some bumps and grooves. Even in terms of other instances of pareidolia, this one is a huge stretch. Of course, considering the extreme mental duress the woman who found the stick was under at the time she found it, I'm sure her brain went to greater lengths than usual to ascribe positive meaning to it.It's just a stick for everyone but the finder and, apparently, a news program in Jacksonville, Florida.
