A Tour of the Creation Museum

Tara Smith writes a review of her field trip to the Creation museum that shows it to be at once highly annoying to anyone with a background in natural science and eye-poppingly silly. Check it out.

Her description sounds very much as I would imagine such a place to be, particularly as it would appear to object to evolutionary theory as a product of the Enlightenment, which placed reason above biblical literalism. I would strongly suggest scooping out one's brains and replacing them with a semi-soft cheese before visiting the place in order to better understand such a philosophical position. Personally, I doubt I'll ever go there. I can't foresee any reason I'd be in the area, and I wouldn't go out of my way to visit.
