A Mycologist in Malaysia
One of my colleagues is attending the Asian Mycological Conference and doing fieldwork in Malaysia for the next few weeks. His exploits may be followed at his blog, My Electric Postcard. His specialty is an odd genus, Calostoma, and the evolution of gastrular form (gastromycetization; yes, there's a name for everything!) in fungi, particularly the Sclerodermatineae.
